I was planning to service my rolex every 10 years. Is it a good gauge? I don't think I can afford to service every 5 years according to rolex recommendation.

I also noticed that some people only service it when the watch is faulty. Whats your opinion on this?

I think really is a personal preference.

My dad one 32 years no service and my mum is 20 years. Still keeping relatively good time for the lack of service . Of course there will be people who want cosc quality at all times then may want to service more regularly.

10 years is Rolex's new recommendation IIRC.

Just post the model you are looking for. Then people will tell you the retail price selling in singapore. If you want discount, need to depend on your relationship with the ad.

Eg: submariner stainless steel black is $11440

Waa so expensive ah. Wondering which model is the best favourite.

That is not a service anymore. Its an overhaul and will cost a lot.

You wouldn't only change your engine oil when it has hardened and cause total engine failure. You also wouldn't download a car.

true true...end of day, its a individual choice...to do regular servicing to last a longer time...take into consideration the cost of owning a rollies.

else stick to a quartz..just change batt. lol

Daytona 116503 to replace 116523.. Because of the new bezel design.. What will happen to the prices of 116523? Go up or down? Since 116523 will be out of production because of 116503..
