Just got a Ref 116233 from AD, got 15% off. Not sure if its a good enough discount though?

15% off for Datejust is very common. >18% off is good.
3~5% off for sports model is also common if you try a bit of bargaining and look sincere to buy.

The problem is can u find the popular models in Europe or not.. Most slurp up by grey dealers even before stocks arrive.

rather buy LV or Chanel come back flip.

Rolex - Skydweller, Daytona Ceramic can get at retail to flip.. but that's like almost impossible unless u damn lucky.
europe AD will chut purchase with purchase.
you buy 1 diamond datejust or some ugly rolex then can buy daytona C at retail

the rest don't bother la. lol

Buy SS sub. Or hulk/batman/daytona.

wanna re-sell, DSSD is poor choice. go for normal sub or sub with date, those move very easily.
thanks all. i'm based in europe atm and i'm on the waiting list for the sub so should be able to get it before i head back to sg. though the person said rolex might increase price again in the next 12 months... which model of daytona exactly?

Hi,

What's the general consensus of the SS sky dweller as it wasn't discussed much?

Looking to get the white face one, but worried that the fluted bezel looks a bit "uncle".
I am impressed with the movement and complication of the watch but look wise it is not the most handsome watch out there for the money.

I am interested in the watch but only because it is an annual calender... What i dun like is the clasp... the fake double lock clasp of the datejust version. And the thickness of the watch. Other then that 42mm is still ok for me.. still deciding.. maybe wait for skydweller 2 with a more sportier look and sport model bracelet.

Yup, i quite like the size of the watch, nice and chunky. Price is attractive too for a annual calendar with GMT function.

I don't wear usually wear shirt and pant to work, and will look a bit out of place in shorts and slippers. Seriously considering, hopefully not an expensive mistake.

It tends towards a dress watch.. less of a sport watch.. especially the white dial.. the blue and black looks more sporty .. thus if i really want to buy i will get a blue or black.. cause i prefer a casual sporty look.
