Rude ppl no manners one juz ignore rah why buy from sum unmannered person who buys from overseas forums then markup hundreds to thousand and sell chiu
Not judging whether anybody is/isn't rude but fact of the matter is that so long as there is a system where some people are more privileged than others to gain access to the watches and there is demand, the grey market will continue to exist and thrive as a sellers' market.
Grey in itself is nothing new, just that the phenomenon of grey selling at a premium is probably hard to swallow for most. I believe Rolex's intention was exactly to put people off from grey. But hey, they are soooo damn popular that it's not working at all.
In the past, grey represented good value to get legit AD pieces at a nice discount through the AD-grey dealer 'black market'. Today this 'black market' is no longer about value but just to gain access to the pieces. To be fair, my sense is that grey seller's aren't making/marking up much more than they used to either.. They get their pieces at retail so obviously they would be selling at above retail to make business sense.
Then again I maybe wrong, perhaps the whole grey cartel is now overall more lucrative than before. Only the grey sellers would know..
