I got from GX84 my batman, warranty stamped 2nd March 2018 (current year and month) at 13.88K and that was like a week before baselworld 2018 announced the new GMT pepsi.

right now the same current month Mar 2018 batman has up price by another $400

But is the state of buying Rolex from AD, popular sports models but not new releases, really as dire as made out to be?

Sounds really sad if it is the case and little wonder the angst against grey... Except that this ain't a life and death commodity like say rice or milk la.. If really principled.. then right thing is to just boycott.
