is Europe the cheapest?
Rolex has the same list price for all their watches after the currency conversion. if you are getting from Rolex AD due to the tax refund and discount given(which is depending) are the reasons why some places are cheaper than other.

so if buying from EU is cheapest or not will depending on the country, only those with high VAT refund like Italy, France..etc and you able to get more discount are cheaper. for some other like Switzerland they about same or sometime more expensive than SG due to low VAT refund and low/zero discount.
HK is also another good place to buy due to no tax but price different from SG mainly is the GST different but if you buying their grey parallel import stuff they are even cheaper but from what i see the prices also around what the local private seller selling.
for Japan you also get good deal if you buying the parallel import stuff over there.
SG is more expensive than some countries because we need to pay the 7% GST but for tourist coming to SG, here might be a good place to buy since they can get GST refund.

share what i read and come across
example a brand new Sub date
can get around sg8.4K from Euro side(after VAT refund/discount)
from HK AD sg$9.2K~sg$9.5K after 5~8% discount
Japan grey set around sg$9K (before tax refund)
local private seller asking around 9.2K or lower depending
local AD listed sg$11120 before discount(0~10% discount)

from there you can get a rough idea of saving buying from diff places.

that place can forget it. how often you hear people buy from there?Likely you can't get the watch you want and they give no or very little discount comparing to town. i only do homework for lolex, the rest I no idea.

My waist not big enough, sea dweller dial too big for me...

The older SD still okay.. 40mm only? The 44mm Deepsea is quite chunky, yes...
Trying to downsize my collection... Need to give those in the safe a chance
