no this doesnt clarify it enough

i do not challenge the removal, it is fine if the person feel it should be removed and i totally support it.

however i feel thread starters should at least be informed if their threads are viewed as issue that should be removed. so far i look high and low i dont see any msg informing me anything.

Just to note, the thread subject "Malaysian beauty queen 22yr old Serene Lim is 55yr old HK billionaire Richard Li new love interest?" is fair speculation. note again this thread is a repost of articles from various news articles.

It is true we can do better on informing members of our actions, however do understand that we are also not obligated to do so.

There had been instances where thread starters were informed of the actions taken, however that led to further debates on whether the actions taken were rightful or not. Some even raised arguments that why other threads were not affected, insinuating that our Moderators were biased and other ridiculous allegations. End up time and resources were spent and wasted on responding to such mindless debates.

Back to your case, I took the effort to explain the action to you upon your enquiry. And since you totally support the action, I am going to leave it as - yes your suggestion to inform the thread starter of actions taken is duly noted, we accept it in a constructive manner and will try to keep thread starters informed when deemed necessary.
