So the previous 28c/56t Intel HEDT thread need to change TR2 DOA into FTW or not?

250w TDP though.

Not unexpected for 32 cores though. I suppose the boost clockspeed to be in the region of 4.2Ghz given the current 2700X runs around that speed.

No wonder Intel pushed their 28 core so hard @ 5Ghz. I don't know if it is a good thing for Intel because I suspect the TDP needs to be increased dramatically to fuel the higher clockspeed.

Motherboard manufacturers are saying 250w is very conservative, so it should actually consume less.

Slated for August 2018... I only have 3 months to find some justifiable reasons to buy a 32 Core CPU...

Obviously insufficient . Liquid cooling for this!
