Do we need to keep boxes for PC parts e.g. for warranty purposes?

Every diy PC, I only empty out the motherboard box and then keep all leftover accessories from all parts in it, compact and easy to stack.

GPU warranty usually needs the box + receipt/invoice/proof of purchase. Other than that should be fine, keep motherboard box and PSU box if needed.

I kept all of the product's boxes. In order to make my things appear appealing and well-maintained,
I always place them in the appropriate boxes and packing when I wish to sell them.
This nearly always helps them sell quickly.

Any distributor explicitly required the box? Asking because I have never encountered this, I've always just brought the card in an antistatic bag.

I don't think this is factual. Distributor normally document the serial number to help them identify if the product is under their "warranty". Apart from that, you just need the receipt to determine the date of purchase. Like Gigabyte GPUs don't even need the receipt because they have a sticker at the back that shows the date for that batch. So if you lose the receipt, you still can claim warranty.

Keep or throw the boxes away, I think it boils down to individual preference. At a minimal, I keep the motherboard box so that I can keep the ram, SSD, and folded CPU box all inside. In case I want to sell any parts, I can still reuse some of the boxes/ containers.

If you're worried the sticker peeling off the card, can cut out the label from the box and keep that instead.

but here like amazon alot, sure amazon need box right?
It’s more like if you want to transport the item back for whatever reasons, it may be good to keep the box for this purpose. Everything you need to RMA is generally on the product itself. I know like Convergent will ask to keep the ram and SD card boxes or packaging because the Convergent sticker is on it. The other exception is to keep the box during the 1 to 1 exchange eligible period. Otherwise, I don’t believe you need boxes for after sales service. I may be wrong, but that’s my experience.
