Thumbdrive

Think this should be the correct place to ask.

I have this thumb drive, in 'my computer' it shows it has 1.59GB free out of 3.27GB.

Problem is when i click into this thumb drive the folders - ' the folder is empty'. It was fine until my colleague just took it out without ejecting properly. I found out this evening when i tried to print something.

Is there any thing i can do to get this sorted out? Any remedies and all?

It is probably corrupted the file allocation table. Right it on the drive and select properties. Click on Tools tab and then Check under Error Checking section.

i forgot to reply. i scanned, try to fixed bad sector..

Still same. The thumdrive shows nth but you can see theres some 1.59GB free out of 3.27GB..

Any other remedies?

On the folder window, click on 'View'.
Then check, 'Hidden Items'

It should reveal folders and files that are hidden.

i did the command prompt..

attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*

Someone PM me.. got it back.
