Just returned from a trip to Guizhou. Cannot compare with Tibet since I have not been there. Guizhou is characterized by the minority but large Miao culture. Blue water rivers and green mountains are the typical landscape of this very green province. Huang Guo Shu waterfalls, walking along the gorges with rushing rivers below, and a stay at the Miao village are highlights of our trip. Guizhou is cool and pleasant at this time of the year.

Winter is the wee season for this area

You don't get to see full Autumn scenery in Guizhou, but the leaves of the Maple trees and Ginkgo trees will turn yellow.
