Yup, realised it's 1am so just stay up for a little while, backed Ticwatch E, used to have first android watch (LG G Watch) so the lack of NFC won't exactly affect me here.

Friend has the TicWatch 2. And the only issue is that it's running it's own modified Android OS which has odd crashes after side loading apps (original app loader is pretty limited). Guess w official Android Wear OS should overcome this issue.

The voice recognition is very impressive.

Worth backing the TicWatch S. Just hope they retain the existing voice recognition API instead of Android Wear's.

Personally the Apple Watch series 2 is still the best fitness tracker especially it's swimming capabilities and more compact design. And since the TicWatch S is scheduled for Nov launch, there prob is gonna be a price drop for the Apple Watch during that period (Black Fri). Thus it's something to consider.

Although the amount funded is one of the highest around already. They advertised them as USD99 Android smartwatch but apparently, it's only for the first 500 for Ticwatch E so it kinda backfired that they trying to get us to help them reach $2m.

People who wanted to backed had already backed. With this minor stretch goal it will be quite hard to spur more to back.

They 'showhand' too quickly when they say that nfc and sim is not supported.

Hope that they can reverse that decision and include either 1 or both features in.

This will ensure a boost in backers.
