Time for a PC upgrade?

With my PC suffering from automatic restarts, and random crashes. Along with the motherboard posting a continuous short beep code - Power issue. I think my PSU is dying and it seems like a high time for an upgrade from my existing setup with hardware from 5 - 7 years ago.

PC tends to be used for web-surfing, video streaming, playing games (POE, older gen triple A titles) and 3D CAD modelling (relatively simple and small models, nothing complex)

I'm looking at upgrading these areas:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
Mobo: Asrock B450M Pro4-F
PSU: Leadex Superflower Eco 500W or 600W
RAM: G.Skill Flare X 3200Mhz (2x8GB)

Intending to keep the rest of my setup for future upgrading if necessary. Any advice on this? Thanks.

I would look at a Ryzen 5 3600 to better future proof yourself (Zen 2 architecture and double the cache over the 2600).

Do you have a budget in mind?

Trying to keep my budget within $500-$600 range. Though if going for the newer processor would stretch my budget by just a little, I could still consider it.

I would go for the 3600 and not the 3600X which is a lot more. Your not changing your GPU so the budget should still be ok.

Agreed, I don't have any plans to overclock, so the X version is not really my thing. Having read through your link, it felt like the performance benefit of 3600 as compared to 2600 was not sufficient to justify the additional cost, though may i be wrong about that.

u can also consider buying 2nd hand mb
also 2nd hand ram

GTX1660 Super DDR6 value for money. If on tight budget, just get rx580 used in caraohell

Not an issue with that but I stilL feel that the 3rd gen Ryzen is the way to go.

From what I've been seeing the best value for money is the GTX1660 Super but if you can stretch a bit I'd go for the RTX2060 or RTX2070 in order to future-proof a bit longer.

Just to put things into perspective,.. the GTX1660 Super is 2.6 times better than your GTX750Ti. The 2060 is roughly 3.4X!so this combined with the Ryzen 5 (Gen 3) makes sense!

i3 9100F?!... GTX 1650S? This is very basic gaming setup.

Buy and build based on budget. Just replace Ryzen 5 1600AF with Ryzen 5 2600. As the different is only SGD40 on newegg.
Its ok to get used gtx1070 or RX580/RX570.

For the SSD,.. a bit odd that there is a 500GB and 512GB. If you look closely the 512GB is cheaper than the 500GB too so order the 512GB!
