HI, currently mine Seasonic M12II-750 PSU fan lately is making a gentle grinding/ratting sound when power on. It brought in 2013 which making it almost 5 year old so i think it time to replace it.

Any recommendation for psu?

using WD40?

Can open up and change the fan de ah?

Ok thanks will take it into considerations might go for lower wattage since i dont SLI anymore...

Fan is not expensive, is better to change.
Just open up and change. May need some soldering skill, otherwise just cut the wires and use a connector to join them.

Most PSU fans use standard fan connectors so soldering won't be required

Note that standard in this case refers to standard as in Sim Lim Tower, not the standard that PC users are used to knowing which really is a very limited subset of standard connectors.
