oh no... then i go there better not open my mouth and speak mandarinhk pple rude ma?heard that they hate ah tiong to the core..
our SMRT train me strong and toughOf cause is before and after working hours. Anyway since you're overseas, just be mentally prepared for rush hours la. Dun tell me you go other countries also want avoid rush hours? Our own SMRT should train you mentally enough for such things![]()
Hk mtr peak hours super packed, imagine they engage assistant to push you in like those in Japan. But efficiency is better than Singapore.
Not so kuazang la!
But yes, the general atmosphere has become hostile to a certain extend, suspect due to the very high percentage of mainlanders there. Not unlike over here, you'll tend to see or rather hear, more PRCs than HKers everywhere.
They're hostile during my initial stage there, improved quite a bit during my last trip, but now it seems to be back to the older days. I don't really blame them especially when we see similar situations here - if you can't beat them, join them - so lesser smiles and more pushing here as well.
IMO, HK is a very good place to experience what we're going to face in years to come, if the percentage of PRCs increases here as well.![]()
Hong Kong is a fast pace country, guess that is why most Hongkies also become like that, walk very fast and will be grumpy if you stop them in their path![]()

What is their peak hours like ? Wow, must try to avoid it.![]()
And their train frequency is much higher too!
