Went to timezone with my 5 year old and found out that they do not allow kids between 7-16 to enter or play during weekdays before 6pm, even if the parents are around. It did not affect us, but another family who came to play had to leave. We've been coming to Timezone for three years now, and have never heard of this rule or seen this rule enforced. So something must have happened recently to trigger this enforcement.
I'm surprised that the govt/authorities are so strict about this. Apparently this rule has been around since forever, but was not enforced.
Feel bad for 1) Timezone, getting their revenue stream limited massively and 2) Families, one less avenue for play during the day.
I read that this rule was created because of LAN gaming in the 90s. 30 years later, things have changed. Isn't it time to review this overly strict rule?
