IMO a gauge u can use is to compare the depreciation among all dealers and a new one.
U will likely see that is better to buy new, provided u are not paying unnecessary interests via loan.
Do the overall amount u need to fork out.
Forget about overtrade, it's just a gimmick.
Service credit is good to an extent but also no point if you loan interests are big.
Best is to pay full without taking a loan.
