is that book good? read liao can huat?

The book is more like a Financial Literacy foundation since many Singaporeans does not seem to be financially literate.

At least this is a step in improving financial literacy here...

Simple. Unit trusts earn more money for (the so called) financial experts. If retail investors only invests in ETFs or individual stock counters, lots of people would be out of jobs.

The gahmen won't want that, right?




*protip: Even ETFs are not guaranteed to give a positive return over time if the economy stagnates in the case of a localized ETF: see the Japan Nikkei for an example.
