tips? thinking of upgrade/replace

im a simple person in the past just buy a bundle set from SLS and maybe on the spot request abit of change to get a slightly better parts etc and have them setup for me everything.

my pc has been 4-5yrs old now and in the recent year things start to spoil like my gpu plastic casing cracked and for whatever reason doesnt work too so i bought a new one and thats seems to be fine so far.
then now recently im having this issue with pc randomly crashed with bluescreen saying hardware faulty or some sort. im using asrock z77motherboard and the problem i had was error55 being memory not installed. i read up abit and it seems this board is quite common with this problem.

i have installed windows a few times in the past and it works fine for awhile and at times it would have the same problem happening again.
this days i could play games use the pc normally for the day and next day it wont boot up

so i was wondering should i be looking for a new motherboard sometime soon or should i just buy a whole new pc bundle from sls.
i have no experience in setting up a pc if i were to buy just a new motherboard,is there some settings i should know and do? hopefully it wont be too complicated.

cause in my mind is having hardwares plug in properly and install windows done.worried about going into bios and such to fiddle around.

You might want to try re-seating the RAM.

(1) Push down the latches at the end of the memory slots on the motherboard.

(2) Remove RAM.

(3) Clean gold contacts with eraser.

(4) Push the RAM back into the memory slot until the latches at each end of the memory slot snaps back in place.

The amount of work involved in replacing a MB and changing the whole rig is about the same, probably more since you have to first disassemble.

Determining factor is cost, a replacement MB should be less than $100 second-hand (new socket 1155 MBs are rare and over-priced).

Either way, you have to assemble the rig. It's quite easy nowadays. Just look up some Youtube videos.

Usually 2 RAM are used.
TS need to test one by one AND slot by slot, each time.
This is to determine if the fault on which RAM &or slot.
Once these tests pass, then next troubleshooting.
If fault is on either, then problem may be solved.
