Pyre,

Did you get teamed up with cannon fodders before?

er no. :)

but seriously sounds like u guys need to learn to move faster and use the terrain to your advantage when moving.

also try using weapons Kar or the alternator (starter SMG) - those are fairly ok i feel for most engagements.

and if you don't even get a single titanfall, means you're not 'farming' the NPCs.

Haiz...

And I can see most of the noobs don't work together when they have Titans. They just fight independently and never support one another.

The last weekend was a nightmare for me. :(

I was thrust into matches that ended with massacres on my teams.

Basically, every match that I joined was a massacre on my team. :(

At one time, I got killed upon spawning because the opponents figured out the spawn points and camped there.

WITH Titans as well! :s22:

So that particular match --> My team was killed upon spawning almost instantly.

This is getting pretty weird.

I can see that some players really know where to camp for instant kills on enemy players upon spawning.

In our next content drop coming soon, we’ll be introducing a brand-new mode called Live Fire: a lightning fast 6v6 Pilot only mode that brings competitive, close quarter combat to the forefront. A round-based best of 5 mode with no respawns, you will have one minute to eliminate the opposing team in order to win the round. You can also win the round if your team is holding the neutral flag when the round timer ends. It’s fast, frantic, and sure to help hone those teamwork and mobility skills. We’re also introducing two brand new maps designed specifically for Live Fire: Stacks and Meadow. Playable only in the Live Fire playlist, these two maps are tight, enclosed death boxes designed specifically for the fast-paced, intense nature of the mode.

In addition to Live Fire and the two new dedicated maps for that mode, we’re also going to be introducing a brand-new Coliseum map called Columns, as well as another Pilot execution (wait until you see this one!), and multiple new Commander intros for each Faction. We’ll have more details on when you’ll be getting your hands on this soon and everything in this update will be free for all Titanfall 2 players.

We’ve also been working on a significant update to our playlist interface. We agree with much of the feedback that having game modes split between two screens is not an ideal user experience. The team has been working to introduce a brand new interface for the next content drop on consoles and possibly a bit earlier on PC so we can test it out. Below you can check out our work in progress to give you an idea how it will change.

Our goal is to allow players to create their own ‘mixtapes’ and choose which modes they want to be matched in. Would you like to match in just Attrition, Amped Hardpoint, and Last Titan Standing? Simply select the modes you want and hit play. We’ll talk more about this and more in the coming weeks.

the game allocates players to a pool of servers around asia. so even if we select SG server, it may move us to other asian servers.

I am getting really FED UP with the matchmaking system. I am getting thrown together with noobs that do not even fight back.

I was thrown into teams that have new players that do not how to play the game. Period. One example. My losing team only got 58 points compared to the other's 425. We were, basically, slaughtered like pigs sent to the slaughterhouse.

The opponents could achieve one-shot kill on every occasion and my teammates did not even kill a single NPC. Their scores are ALL ZEROS. Gosh...

I cursed and swore during that whole match. I think my blood pressure rose drastically for a short while. :(

And the other matches were really one-sided. 100 : 425 or 90 425 and my teammates were either bob-bo shooters or they were aimless bots running around for no reason.

Or the opponents cheated. I don't know. But I find that some of the weapons are really powerful even though I used them before. Like the R-201. One-shot kill. Everytime. I saw the replay and found that this guy really hit all the targets with just one shot from that basic rifle.

The FairFight system is flawed in my opinion. People still can cheat if they are innovative and determined in bypassing the system.

Did anyone feel split-second lag when you are spraying your weapon at an enemy? Like the weapon jammed up suddenly.

Hi, I am new to TTF2. Played Advocate last week. Didn't have issue with matchmaking. Quite balanced team.

But most of the time, at bottom of the group though, being new and all. Weapons kind of weak for low level players. Weapon must train to up level?

This week, too busy to play.

On M1 but using wireless at home. Ping times quite ok at ~100ms. Not quite 5-6ms for SG servers but gameplay is ok.

As you play more often, you will be thrown into teams that are just cannon fodders.

Initially, I also did not face such issues. I was always in the winning teams. :o

ok. thanks for letting me know.

Somehow I don't feel so bad being in the lousy team. Being in the good team is a bit hard when you are letting everyone down by being killed all the time.

Being in a lousy team means nothing to lose... also, winning is not everything..

I am trying to improve my kill count, rather than win count.

It may be harder on the lousy team, but it should be doable. I have seen players in my team that lost, scores better than the winning team players.

Wait till you encounter some teammates that really love individualism. They do not believe in teamwork.

Example:

I was fighting two enemy Titans in my Ion. And there were two teammates riding in Tone and Northstar who were behind me. Initially, I thought they had arrived to help me to take out the two enemy Titans as my Titan health was depleting rapidly.

No. These two 'pals' simply saw some enemy cannon fodders in front of me and just blasted them away. After that, they simply retreated to god-knows-where in a hurry. :(

I got blasted to bits within a few seconds after the two jokers disappeared without firing a single shot at the two enemy Titans.

Example:

After we jumped off from the dropship at the start of the match, my teammates simply 'camped' on the nearest rooftops and fired upon the cannon fodders at the opposite direction swiftly.

I was the only one that tried to flank the enemy positions without any support and eventually our side got surrounded from the two flanks. I was killed numerous times as I got no support from my teammates.

And these jokers never learned their lessons. They kept 'camping' on rooftops (Boom Town) after they got backstabbed after spawning.

One of the opponents even typed that I should quit the match and let his team massacre my other teammates because they felt that I was the only one who knew how to play the game. Those 'campers' deserved to be slaughtered. Hahahaha...

In the end, the opponents won the match without EVEN summoning a single Titan. Can you believe that?
