To be an accountant...

Can I just have a bachelor of business majoring in accounts? Or I have to take public accountant Professional Examination (PE) after my degree before I can start work as an accountant?

I'm currently considering the following offers below from Monash university in Australia btw.

1. Bachelor of business (banking and finance) - will eventually take cfa
2. Bachelor of business (accountancy) - will eventually lead to cpa?

Which degree would you choose if you were me in terms of career prospects?

Am I right to say that the bachelor in business (accounts) is not enough for me to work as an accountant as I would need to take a foundation program just to be able to work in an accounting Job in singapore?

Or I can work as accountant but to get CA I need to take the foundation program route?
