To disrupt or not?

Hello everyone, I'm in a dilemma now and will like to seek some advice especially for those who have been in the same situation as me.

I will only ORD on Oct 30 2014. However, I if I defer, I will enter uni next year and have to serve back three months during my year one holiday. If I don't defer I will have to wait nine months before I can enroll into university in 2015 Aug. Dilemma lies in the Sian feeling of coming back for three months.

It's either I graduate when I'm 25 years old or 26 years old.

If you were me, what will be your decision?

I think for the sake of not wasting 9 months, being sian for 3 months better. at least during that time u got allowance also.

Defer.

1) You get to go uni early
2) For the last 3 months they can't make you do anything much, so you will be very lobo one.
3) Uni holiday also good chance to have ICT, so you'll have to go back camp anyway.

Everyone will distrupt one. Then after ur Uni, they will attach u to some lobo place to let u finish up your balance.

My unit people who last time disrupt join back the same unit and they are attach to HQ company like Manpower branch etc and do paper work and other saikang with the clerks. Then their ICT they join the next batch as their original vocation.

What if your ORD is 1 month after Poly new term starts. Does SAF also allow for disruption for Polytechnic studies ?

Definitely is disrupt! Don't waste time, 2 years had been wasted, so cherish your time well...

I have a placing in ntu. If I don't disrupt, two months will be spend with national youth council where I'm involved in and the rest working yeah. So disruption seems like the best option? Anyone has any idea if year 1 uni holiday there's anything to do or its set aside for ict?

Thus I can only disrupt earliest on 1st of July. May I know is it possible that they grant me special permission and let me disrupt just a few week earlier before my minimum service period of 23 months?

I think the best is to ask your manpower branch.They view it on a case by case basis and can give better advice.

In my opinion,it should be ok.If you have any leave/off,this is the best time to use it.
