Just get the ip5 la, it's a never ending waiting game for the latest and greatest. 5s would not be a big improvement over the 5, might as well get the 5 now and upgrade to the 6.

iPhone 5 price in 2nd hand market will plunge once iPhone 5s or 6 is announced. I will prefer to wait though.. and maybe new ios features are available in new iPhone too..

Just wait..

For the record, 4s still sells up to 400 dollars now, so im not sure what u mean by "plunge". On a side note, image quality is not determined by megapixel, higher amount of megapixel giving u better quality pictures all just sales gimmicks.

On topic, imo, iphone 5 is a worthy upgrade from your blackberry. So why not? :)

I own a 4S. Gonna upgrade to 5 this week depending on what the news in WWDC is. Even if so, my next upgrade in Mar 2015, I'll be able to buy the 6. No harm. I already enjoyed the iPhone 4S on launch day. Can't always keep up one lah. As long as its decent just buy. Unless you tell me iOS 7 doesn't work on iPhone 5 (which it definitely will).

Will you sell your 4s or keep it?

I have 2 iPhone 4S. I didn't get 5 because of the downgrade on quality

Bought direct from APPLE shop. So far purchased 5 iPhones; 2 from telco; 3 direct. Dont have much issues. Last was i3s Vib button defective after one half years.

Previously was i4s user. U will like the light weight and fast processor speed i5. Also the smaller power plug.

iPhone 5 is ok.. iPhone 4 also ok.. my iPhone 3 (without S) is still ok..

Only battery retention for older iPhone (ie iPhone 3) is bad.. Otherwise fully functional..

ISO 7 is likely to run well in iPhone 5 without lag.. But apple is famous disabling new features in older iPhone and only enable it in newer iPhone

Though you may say some new features are "crap" and may not be worthwhile to wait..

Well, I believe it may or may not impact a lot. E.g. Siri didn't work on the iPhone 4, but remember when iOS 6 came out, turn-by-turn navigation worked for both 4S and 5? At least now I get a preview of iOS 7 in a couple of hours time before deciding. And like most people feel, the speed of the 4S is already very good for game playing and stuff, what more the 5?

I may not sell it, but not because it's that good. Rather, it's for me to use as a spare phone when I'm overseas for long periods so I can use both my SingTel line and overseas line on different phones.

I would wait... maybe look around for 2nd hand iphone 4s if you want to start using ios...

You can still trade in or sell away the iphone 4s later...

Hi, I am a NSF that is going to ORD around early June. I am excited to get an iphone as I simply have enough of using Blackberry (cause it is the only company that offers a range of smartphones with no camera). Naturally, being this close to ORD, I started thinking about my smartphone choices. I decided to choose iOS over Android.

My question (to seek suggestions) is this: I am actually wanting an iphone and ipad but the new release will come out in late Q3. Is it better to wait? I am actually not too particular about the specs, but I would like to see a 13MP camera as it will be better to take photos when overseas. The current iPhone 5 camera is only 8MP.

Check for Scratches (especially the chamfer) check the buttons obviously. and use a finger and swipe left and right on the home screen from top to bottom to ensure that every part of the screen is sensitive.
They have a warranty service if the iPhone fails you in any way. except water and drop damage.
