I remember the next morning 911 happened i was still in poly and the lecturers were all talking about it.

A few friends and i went to town after the lectures and SOC troopers were seen stationed and patrolling around. It happened at the other end of the continent but the aftereffects could almost be felt worldwide.

Then not long after that Bush declared war and they started hunting for that osama liao.

Was having dinner for colleague going to US to work. Someone said a plane had crashed into WTC. I thought it was in SG. Got home, watched TV and was totally in shock. Of course, colleague had to postpone his trip.

It’s due to 11 Sep that all the dustbins in Singapore’s public places disappeared.

It was most frustrating that dustbins could not be found when previously Singapore had dustbins within a few steps everywhere.
