Lisa ...
Her live performance on this stage, once again, exposed how much she lacks as a solo artist. It really reinforces the idea that BLACKPINK functions better as a group. On her own, Lisa’s limited vocals, minimal rapping, and surprisingly underwhelming dancing especially for someone known for her stage performance, became all the more noticeable.
The entire set leaned heavily on theatrical effects, backup dancers, and a loud backtrack that often drowned out her live singing. Without the production value, there just wasn’t much substance to hold attention, even though she did manage to show flashes of stage presence in parts.
