Hi,

When i brush my 20 month toddler's teeth, the upper right molar area bleeds frequently. There is no problem with other sections of her teeth. Anyone have any idea what the problem can be?

I am thinking of bringing her to the dentist for a review. But she is very afraid of strangers and since she does not understand opening their mouth for checkup, do the dentist clamp their mouth open to examine them?

Appreciate any information or advice.

Try another softer brush and see how.

For dentist, go for kids friendly kind. Usually have a monitor for cartoons. Etc.
they will also likely do a orientation for the kids to put them at ease.
