My draft plan:

1st day arrive will be at shijuku

4th day kyoto

5th day tokyo (Disney land or sea (which one is recommend?)

Is this rush?

If you have only 6 days, I'd suggest to just stick to Tokyo. No point spend so much on JR pass and wasting the time travelling to and fro while only spending 1 day in Osaka and 1 day in Kyoto. Instead of just touch and go for all three areas according to your plan, concentrate on just one area instead.

It's doable, but not recommended. The amount and time spent on transportation are not worth it. You should fly into Osaka directly if your focus is on Osaka/Kyoto/Nara.

As most of the comments: I suggest stick to Tokyo for the whole trip and enjoy most of the time there, instead of spending in total 1 whole day for travelling between cities. Simply not worth spending the time and money..... it's a waste if you ask me

Ur flight book already? If not, since most of your days are in Kansai, why not just fly to Osaka, save time on travelling. Disney chg to USJ?

Actually my flight book, there no acceptable flight price to Osaka at the moment.

I have draft more:
Day 1 - shijuku (walk and eat surrounding area)
Day 2 - Osaka (Osaka Castle Park , Shinsaibashi, Shinsaibashi
Day 3 - Osaka (Nara-koen Deer Park, Mt. Wakakusa, Mochi Pounding at Nakatanidou, optional osaka aquarium)
Day 4 - Kyoto (Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera Temple), night bus to Tokyo
Day 5 - Tokyo (Yokohama Nissin Cup Noodles Museum, Akihabara, Yokohama Pokémon Center)

Day 6- Toyko (Asakusa Kagetsudo, Ueno Park)

*I dun think I will be buying any JR pass, may not worth it.
A bit touch and go but I have try to keep close to each place together..

Day 3 - You plan to visit Osaka Aquarium in the evening? Maybe it's more of an optional for Day 2 instead.
Day 4 - Night bus to Tokyo. I am not sure how old is your kid...maybe not so comfortable for him/her? Shinkansen or domestic flight not an option?
Day 5 - Akihabara can be lump into Day 6 since it's near to Ueno. You can also visit the Red Brick warehouse area and Chinatown there.

Your flight is via Haneda or Narita?

2 night Osaka 2room 600plus sgd
Kyoto back to tokyo will be on night bus
1 night at tokyo 2 room 300 sgd plus

Look like no cheaper option for room with kids.. abnb I nv book before seem like got hidden charges like room cleaning services

Haven't count in bullet train haha
But going Osaka wanna see the Nara park and Kyoto nearby can see the building and surrounding..

I highly dont recommend this but its your choice. From the looks of it, you will be dead tired almost everyday, kids cranky, etc. If this is your first time, not to mention confusion and stress with the day-to-day travelling.

This is mad rush plus excessive spending. Just stick to one of the cities. Tons of things to do in either Tokyo or Osaka. You only have 6D, usually I don’t take the first and last day because you don’t know how much time you need to get in or out of the airport. My last trip took me 1.5hrs to get out of Narita airport and I usually do F&E so it didn’t affect my itinerary.

Actually first day I not really plan visiting much as my hotel is near shijuku so just a walking distance to nearby.

Osaka and Kyoto quite near each other right, that y I cater 1 day to Kyoto but I'm not sure in reality

To cut spending I'm stills searching to see if there alternative cheaper hotel.

If you don’t intend to buy JR Pass, your one-way Shinkansen ticket is going to cost you ¥14,000 per pax, assuming you all are taking Nozomi trains. I’ll still say stick to one city so that you don’t have to spend extra money to take the Shinkansen. And if you insist on your current plan, JR Pass is worth the cost since you’re taking trains back and forth and in Japan for less than 7D.

It's your choice to have to visit Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto in 6 days.

But to me, I find it that you will have to spend excessive amount and time.
As what the other suggestions were, it would be good to stick to Tokyo only or Osaka only.

Unless you have 10 days to spare.

If not this trip would not be considered a trip, it will be too rushed.

You have yet to factor in other variables such as time lost if you missed the train or delays in airport.

What is your arrival time in Tokyo and departure from Tokyo? it would have been better if you arrive in Tokyo and depart from Osaka, but i gather that your ticket have been booked?

my 10 cents of advise =D

If budget is a concern, why not just stick to one city? Stay in one hotel throughout (cost and time effective), travel less means you have more time to venture around the area. It’s not easy to bring children around if you wished to rush through that itinerary. What’s your main concern for not doing one city? Would this be your one and only trip to Japan whereby you just want to tick off your wishlist?

Seem like majority is right. I will redraft and plan my trip just in Tokyo. Any recomendation of hotel which is quite budget?

I can fit in Mt Fuji and Disney Land?

1. What's your budget for hotel? Most Shinjuku hotels are not budget...
2. Disneyland - you can either choose land or sea for a day.
3. Mt Fuji. One day is doable. If you want to combine with Hakone, can consider getting Fuji Hakone pass. (Min.2d1n)
