Dear all, I would like to seek some advice on the following itinerary. This is my 2nd trip to Tokyo and I have covered most tourist spots in my 1st trip.
Late Nov solo trip.
Day1: Arrival Narita airport in early morning. Plan to go to Ueno and Asakusa for the day. Staying in Ikebukuro.
Day 2: Going to Kawaguchiko. Advice needed here: Should I buy Mt Fuji Round Trip Ticket 2days 5600yen (Mt. Fuji Round Trip Ticket | Fares & Passes | JR-EAST) or just buy single trip tickets to and fro? Plan to take retro bus around, and take pictures of Mt Fuji. Will stay in a hotel in Kawaguchiko.
(does the ticket I mentioned above cover Ikebukuro->Kawaguchiko->Ikebukuro? I'm not too sure how this ticket works)
Day 3: Return to Shinjuku. Hang around there, then go Hamamatsucho/Tokyo tower.
Day 4: Tsukiji market in the morning, then watch concert in afternoon, head to yokohama in late afternoon. Plan is to go to the Landmark Tower and Sky garden (both entry fees quite expensive, not sure whether worth the time and effort for the views)
Day 4: Nokogiriyama for hiking. Anyone been there? Planning to take train there, and Ferry for return trip. But the ferry trip a bit confusing. From my research, the direction there is Ikebukuro-Akihabara-Chiba-Hamakanaya (by train). Return is Kanaya Ferry Port-Kurihama Ferry Terminal-bus(?) to Keikyu Kurihama station- Ikebukuro. Evening will be spent in Ikebukuro malls.
Day 5: Takao-san for hiking. Anyone been there? Evening will be at Akihabara.
Day 6: Go home.
Btw anyone knows the place with cheap Nanoblocks? Planning to go to Yamashiroya at Ueno (and jiak Ichiran Ramen!).
Am also looking for recommendation for Tempura & Unagi restaurant. Will visit if it is on my way. Will not go far specially to find the shop.
Thanks for any comments!
