Will appreciate some comments for our upcoming trip to Tokyo with my 2 yo daughter. Will not go on to shopping and malls (except see some collectibles/figures for myself)

Based on what I read, crowd volume is a concern on some of our planned destinations so Im open to comments on when I can better set the schedule to visit these places. Didn't encounter these during our kansai trip so I want to be prepared as much as possible. My itinerary per day can be exchanged with the other days where less crowd can be expected.

SATURDAY (Arrival 1230pm Narita)
After checkin or baggage drop off
- Odaiba
--Legoland
--Miraikan Natl Museum (alternate to Legoland or may visit if there will be free time)
--Palette Town
--Toyota Mega Web (may visit if there will be free time)
--Diver City Tokyo Plaza (see only)
--Rainbow Bridge (see only, even from afar)
--statue of liberty (see only, even from afar)

SUNDAY
- Koishikiwa Korakuen ( just to see and take pics of the plum blossoms)
- Yushima Tenjin ( just to see and take pics of the plum blossoms)
- Ameyoko
- Ueno Park (Zoo)
- Asakusa
- Tokyo Skytree (Aquarium, Observation Dock)

MONDAY
- Disneyland (will stay late for the fireworks)

TUESDAY
- Disneysea (may not stay late anymore as I read the 2 parks share the same fireworks, unless something nice can be seen at night here)

WEDNESDAY
- Mt Fuji - Lake Kawaguchiko, Chureito Pagoda, Music Forest (Optional) - earliest possible trip and leave a lil bit after lunch
- Consider Ghibli Museum or Edo tokyo open air museum
- Try Matsuzaka Beef in Steakhouse Satou (either before or after our 2nd destination)
- Shibuya crossing and hachiko (we will not go shopping, minor checking only most probably)
- govt building in Shinjuku

THURSDAY
option 1
- Hanegi Park ( just to see and take pics of the plum blossoms)
- Sanrio Puroland or Doraemon Museum or both
- Shibuya again in case i missed it the previous night

option 2
- Edo tokyo museum
- Kanto Earthquake Museum
- Akihabara
--- Odaiba again?

option 3
- Yokohama
-- Aquarium
-- Ramen Museum
-- Mitsubishi Museum

FRIDAY
- Flight back at 110pm
- don't know what we can do at that early without stressing ourselves to rush ourselves back to the airport

BTW. our trip is feb28 to march 6 (need to plan early as Im always busy during the late & early months of the year)

day 2 itinerary is very packed. i suggest you remove a couple of items which you and your family are least interested in. (if i were you, i would keep Koishikiwa Korakuen, as i wouldn't know whether i'd ever return to tokyo during the plum blossom season while the rest can be enjoyed at any time of the year.)

day 3 itinerary is unrealistic, especially with a two year old in tow. a side trip to hakone already takes up the better part of a day, much less a day-trip to lake kawaguchiko.

Thanks a lot. :D

Day 2: as my true purpose to go to Koishikiwa Korakuen and Yushima Tenjin is only plum blossoms, will the 2 offer different experience and i can just go to one? If ill drop either one, which one should i drop?

Worse comes to worst, ill drop tokyo tree..,Ameyoko will just pass by, no intention to sniff around. I was thinking if the walk will be manageable from koishikiwa to ueno park, maybe we can try passing thru ameyoko..if not advisable, then ameyoko will be skipped and will just go directly to ueno park (BTW, will the walk manageable?) We are considering bringing our very light stroller for our daughter and bags but i haven't read anywhere yet if bringing strollers is advisable in tokyo trips.

Day 3: do you mean day 5, the mt.fuji day? actually priority is to just take souvenir photos there :D - then eat matsusaka beef. the others i can drop if in case our body surrenders.

Day 1 places you go are already shopping places. Seriously hard not to shop in Tokyo one. It is a city, not some suburb.

To be honest, I don't think there is much wow factors for the observation decks at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building so it is ok to give it a miss.

harajuku should be nice place to observe some interesting characters
and takeshita street is full of life ...

how about tokyo tower ?

Thanks. How about the skytree? With its charge, will it be worth it?

Actually, we will just try the govt bldg because it is free and might be near my plan of hotel to stay. And in case we miss the skytree (due to any reasons), at least we already tried looking on Tokyo on high thru the Govt Bldg...or will it really be better for me to just save energy and just try the skytree?

i second sobeckscxl's comment. anyway, i went tokyo tower. night view from the tower nothing brillant but looking at tokyo tower from close by was quite surreal for me.

i find skytree expensive also and not sure if now still must queue in advanced for tix. honestly, i think those observation decks more or less the same - over rated.

but it might be nice to view skytree lit up at night. maybe you can go to odaiba in the afternoon, then ride the river boat to asakusa and spend the evening in the area.

got at least two more observation decks - mori tower and sunshine city. mori not cheap also but the sunshine 60 one is one of the cheapest around.
