That is what I worry. I hope there would be others here that can say something about the stroller experience.

regarding peak hour, that will be a relief if just like SG. at least i can plan ahead the time of our trips.

thanks a lot

i don't have experience as well but like SG, morning peak, avoid the direction towards the city. evening peak usually more spread out, not as bad. and use those cabins not aligned with the lifts/escalators cos those will be more crowded as ppl who want to get off/on faster will go there.

read somewhere that strollers need to be folded in train. have you also checked out disney's website? read somewhere else that they do loan strollers for up to a certain age.

- to city? where exactly would that be? isnt tokyo is a big city? i mean, we will be staying in shinjuku, isnt part of the city?

- Re. the stroller, I expect it needed to be folded.which I will need to carry in the stairs, train...As long as the train is not crowded, we can manage

- Re. stroller in disney, do they have? well that will be good. thanks for the info. ill check that particularly. CHECKED. They really have, guess we will just rent.

Where will the crowd heading to during morning rush hours its quite tough to predict actually. My observation last time when I was in the platform at Shin Okubo(one stop north of Shinjuku Yamanote line). i saw that both direction trains are quite full at around 9am. But not those sardine full that need pusher to squeeze you in kind like you saw in youtube. And the Q is short around the doors. I would imagine earlier than 9am could be worst.

Anyway, just relax and stay calm. If too crowded just wait for the next train, or join the Q and your turn will come soon. But not sure if your kid is cranky or Agoraphobia or not. The platform is quite small at most stations and the sights and sounds can be too much to bear for a young kid. And their train prohibits any noise making devices. If you want to pacify your kid with an ipad or phone, remember to switch to silent mode.

With a lot of line, it is hard to predict which one is going into the city as they will interlink at some point. Major stations like Shinjuku and Tokyo will be very packed during peak period.

But their off peak trains are really off-peak and you should have no problem boarding it or getting a seat.

Tokyo is not kind to your feet. You will walk a lot.

Will appreciate some comments for our upcoming trip to Tokyo with my 2 yo daughter. Will not go on to shopping and malls (except see some collectibles/figures for myself)

Based on what I read, crowd volume is a concern on some of our planned destinations so Im open to comments on when I can better set the schedule to visit these places. Didn't encounter these during our kansai trip so I want to be prepared as much as possible. My itinerary per day can be exchanged with the other days where less crowd can be expected.

SATURDAY FEB28 (Arrival 1230pm Narita)
After checkin or baggage drop off
- Odaiba
--Legoland
--Miraikan Natl Museum (alternate to Legoland or may visit if there will be free time)
--Palette Town
---Toyota Mega Web (may visit if there will be free time)
--Diver City Tokyo Plaza (see only)
--Rainbow Bridge (see only, even from afar)
--statue of liberty (see only, even from afar)

SUNDAY MARCH1
Option 1
- Edo tokyo museum
- Kanto Earthquake Museum
- Akihabara
- Harajuku
- Shibuya crossing and hachiko (we will not go shopping, minor checking only most probably)

Option 2
- Koishikiwa Korakuen ( just to see and take pics of the plum blossoms) - which one to choose if i will go to one only?
- Yushima Tenjin ( just to see and take pics of the plum blossoms) -
which one to choose if i will go to one only?
- Ameyoko - may skip
- Ueno Park (Zoo)
- Asakusa
- Tokyo Skytree (Aquarium, Observation Dock)

MONDAY MARCH 2

- Disneyland (will stay late for the fireworks)

TUESDAY MARCH 3
- Disneysea (may not stay late anymore as I read the 2 parks share the same fireworks, unless something nice can be seen at night here)

WEDNESDAY MARCH 4
- Mt Fuji - Lake Kawaguchiko, ropeway, Music Forest (Optional) - earliest possible trip and leave a lil bit after lunch
- Consider Ghibli Museum or Edo tokyo open air museum
- Try Matsuzaka Beef in Steakhouse Satou (either before or after our 2nd destination)
- govt building in Shinjuku

THURSDAY MARCH 5

Option 4 (same as option 1 of sunday)
- Koishikiwa Korakuen ( just to see and take pics of the plum blossoms) - which one to choose if i will go to one only?
- Yushima Tenjin ( just to see and take pics of the plum blossoms) -
which one to choose if i will go to one only?
- Ameyoko - may skip
- Ueno Park (Zoo)
- Asakusa
- Tokyo Skytree (Aquarium, Observation Dock)

FRIDAY MARCH 6
- Flight back at 110pm
- don't know what we can do at that early without stressing ourselves to rush ourselves back to the airport

BTW. our trip is feb28 to march 6 (need to plan early as Im always busy during the late & early months of the year)

Any more suggestion?

-If I got to check plum blossoms, which one park should i visit?
-anything i can do prior to our flight on the last day? - even something very early in tokyo or in the narita airport? (do they have some activities that can be done like in changi?)
- will it matter if i switch/change the 3 areas on the mon, tue and wed itineraries? or crowds are just the same for the 3 areas on the 3 days?
- Will anybody recommend to skip some areas for us to check Kawazu? At our period of visit, it may be full bloom there, will it be worth it to go there by skipping some of our planned itineraries?
- anybody know if there is a stroller rental in mt.fuji/lake kawaguchi?
