Haneda nearer but both have train and bus to Tokyo. For travel time Haneda is around 1 hours on bus while Narita is around 2 hours.

Train will be faster

For haneda it's probably even faster on the cute Pokemon monorail :s34:

Then again flight timing should be a consideration factor on top of location.

Haneda Airport is closer to Tokyo but the airline that land there is ANA where the ticket is almost double the price of those landed in Narita Airport.

Haneda is better

It is closer to Tokyo and the cost of train much cheaper

I will be landing in Haneda for my next trip in April (Landing 630am)

TBH the timing for NRT is better.. u fly overnite reach there early morning..

But the train ride from NRT to Tokyo is very long! ( In my opinion)

Basically by train.. we took the Keisei Acess Expess out of three Keisei lines to Ueno. Due to some confusion we missed the train we could have taken and we waited another 30 min. U add another approx 1 hr to the whole journey.

For our return trip it took us even longer because we cant find the Access Express train and had to take the Keisei Main Line instead.

Cathay Pacific although landed at Haneda Airport but the flight time darn long (11-18 hours long) with stopover at HK.

SQ got direct flight (6.5 hours) to Haneda but the cheapest price for 2 flying economy is $2017 compare to flying Delta also direct flight (6.5 hours) but to Narita at $1260 for 2 economy paxs. Early morning flight reach Nariita at lunch time, eat and board NEX for a 1.5 hours afternoon nap, reach Shinjuku, get off walk 3 minutes into the hotel. If take SQ reach Haneda already 11pm at night, after clear custom might need to take taxi to hotel; rush like mad dogs.

Any flight that last more than 4 hours, best to fly norm airlines instead of budget, more comfort.

SQ got flight reach Haneda at 6:30am. (Depart Sing at around 10:30pm).

Once reach Haneda, clear custom, Travel to central Tokyo, put luggage in Hotel Maybe 8-9am only!

Most Ideal flight ever :s13:

Still can go breakfast!
