You are confirmed that you don want to conti in the O&G industry? Right now as market is bad, is very difficult to switch industry especially IT and bank as they normally require those with experience. I have a hard time applying for other industry too

I also jobless now, at home at least help out with cleaning etc while making your next plan. Don't sit around like a big boss doing nothing. That's the most irritating kind of guys around.

Banks won’t even consider you if you don’t have any relevant experience.

Your resume will not even hit the eyes of the hiring manager... without any experience, the only way to get in is through a contact or referral.

Tks man. I have been applying thru multiple portals. I have applied to many banking roles in the job bank portal but strangely all the interviews I get were from other sources. The job bank portal seems really useless.


I have enough to last a few years... Somethings is wrong if i cant find a job by then..

How about normal acad lower sec? Generally, I find them rather unmotivated. Of course got some better one but is rare. Teach them is normally can die one...at least normal tech don't have teach much?

My first time posting here after reading edmw for many years.

Just a bit of background information about me: I am a local grad with a few years experience here who recently lost my job.

I have been applying many SGunited jobs and upgrading my skills but all I get were rejections or mostly no reply... My life now is like eat cai png, send job applications, learn some new skills and sleep everyday.
