type .img at the search bar than click on date modified to know which photo is taken when.

I realized that, these folders now will keep photos/videos based on date taken/saved, 1 folder for 1 month.

IIRC it's due to more 10,000 photos taken. Transfer all the photos out of the phone and it'll go back to one folder....

at the windows explorer, you right click at the iphone device, it will show you import function, then you setup import setting to select a folder for import.

in future, you can always use the import, it will remember your last imported image and import the rest of the images.

yes..the import works..

however, my first import my setting was not right and the folder and filename is haywire...

how to reset the import?

Simple. You can refer here.

TL;DR, Delete/backup/rename the file: C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Photo Acquisition\PreviouslyAcquired.db

And you should be able to reimport.
