[Too many opposition parties]

I feel that there are too many opp. parties.
For the netizen, he is able to distinguish between WP, SDP and the other "clownish" parties. But for the layman on the street, they are all the same , aka "opposition party". If one of the opp. party makes a gaffe, all the opp.parties get a beating.
Unfortunately, this is democracy. The only soln, i see is that in future elections, we shld make this parties lose their deposit.

I find that there are not enough parties all around. Why only have these few to choose from? Why 1 area only can choose between 2?

Just my personal observation.
Something I noted from conversations with older relatives and friends. To them (the opp. parties) are one and the same.
Sad but the truth.
