tooth filling problem

had a tooth filling done about a week ago. The filling is moderate in size, located interproximally, and was done using amalgam.

experiencing spontaneous pain on and off without any clear trigger.
went back to the dentist on day 4; they adjusted the bite, performed an X-ray. The X-ray showed no issues.

But pain still there so visit another dentist? Or what?

Mine go off in 2-3 weeks time. First time it happens. Normally no pain after filling one

Why got pain. Pain mean inside the tooth not clear property. Got infection or inside still got bateria

It's not after food or drink.

Got pain means the nerves inside might be infected

Need to open it up to do root canal then put a crown over it

Dentist also want to extract. Actually he said can just extract
