Hi I have been using satellite A200 Model (PSAF6L-0V600J) for a 1year and a half now; been fairly satisfied so far.
Just encountered this big problem yesterday... My Laptop cannot switch on at all...
with power cord and adaptor , and battery on, the power indicator does not turn on at all.
with only battery on, does not switch on at all too.

Need advice on how to deal with this,
now overseas for study and my extended warranty is NOT international! : (

The bluetooth for M900 must be activated as in must install the drivers. Click some icon on the desktop & it will auto install. This must be done before using. For the buzzing sound.. I didnt notice have leh.. Haha.

hi all, currently using toshiba m700 for about a year now,

theres the annoying problem with my comp is that the pen slot is stuck (or extremely hard to push in to be exect)... i suspect that something is blocking it but i somehow can't... so i guess somehow some bump caused the casing to bend inwards slightly, thus being too small in diameter to fit the pen

anyone knows a cheeap solution to fix the slot? or really must change the entire casing?

o ya anyone else knows how much a tablet pen costs? mine is quite screwed

Break the slot. It works but then your pen can never go back in. Come ACS(I) on Monday Wednesday and Friday. Look for the Toshiba guys. Tablet pen costs ard $50. Can order from them and collect the next time they come. They should be able to get you a new case change for you.

Any of you try to do partition on your system? My harddisk only have 1 partition (c:). My question is let say i make a new partition use 3rd party software. Later on, when i want to format using recovery disk. Is it also delete my new partition or only c: drive?

new owner of a Satellite m300 here.

So far so good no problems and loving it.

Still wondering if to downgrade to XP or dualboot, some of the software I use is only supported till XP

Repartioning an existing harddisk can be quite risky as you might end up losing all your data if the process fails. Backup your data before attempting this.

As for whether the recovery process will wipe out your newly created partition, there is no firm answer as it will depend on the behaviour or capability of the software. You can try calling the service center and inquire from them.

Just saw the Toshiba Protege T110 and T130 in Harvey Norman today. The T130 looks good, was thinking of getting it but priced at $1699 for a 13.3" CULV notebook..Was wondering if anyone can tell me the comparison between Toshiba notebooks and other brands?
