total solar eclipse trip - worth it?

Hi

have any edmwers experience total solar eclipse before? Is it worth the trip just to see it? I got very little annual leave now, so wondering whether should I use my leave for this. Next year's total solar eclipse is in Indonesia. I am thinking of either going to pulau Bangka, Belitung or Sulawesi.

Personally, i dont think it's worth it.
It is just that the sky gets dark during the day for a while and that's about it.

If u are an Astronomy fan, it would probably be very worth it though.
