just found one TNG card at home, bought few years ago, expire in May 2024. Anyone knows if the card is still usable since I didn't use it for years.

Have to get it reactivated again. It won’t be usable at customs for sure.

We have a few cards expired and expiring sent for refund via an agent stationed at Nusa Bestari shop in June last year:

Till now no sound no wind…

Probably suspended since you havent used it for so long. If you registered it online, you would know its status and stored value.

download the tng app and register it inside to see whether still valid or not...

Try the petrol stations further out, got mine recently in JB.
Cannot rmb the cost, its the new NFC rainbow coloured ones.

me too got from petrol station, just happily got it and pay money n go. think i paid 10rm but inside is 0value. also duno buy for what. just know is rare to get and just wan to get hold of one. lol. collecting dust now.

yeah, now that you brought it up should be 10RM, and need top up as no value.

I believe it can be used for quite a number of places/different usages.

Can always add to the app and top up with some RM. If happen to take a lift from someone, can always offer your card at tolls, much like helping to pay for petrol for the ride.

If card comes with NFC function I thought can use as payment card in stores and fast food joints.

Cannot use already. I got one back in 2021 August, when I tried to use last week, cannot already. I think one year no use will be inactivated

You mean add card to ewallet? Yes must verify. We SG have to use our passport and also scan face for verification on the TnG app

Buy from retail no need passport. It’s only when you want to add that card to the TnG ewallet then you need to submit passport for foreigners and also do a face scan for verification

Can keep it for your trips around KL using public transportation then.

I recall having used my Watsons x TnG card to make payment (at Watsons MY) pre-C19. I then applied for a refund during C19 when the borders were still closed.

Now with our new TnG cards, I think they can still be used at retail outlets but not all that also accept the eWallet.
