Touring Nagoya

I will be spending 10 days in Japan in Oct, with 2 days in Nagoya, wondering what else I can do in Nagoya.

My current itinerary:
Nagoya day 1
Tokugawa Art Museum
Nagoya castle
Atsuta Shrine
Osu Kannon Temple
Osu Shopping Arcade

Nagoya day 2
* Nagoya festival event if available *
Nagoya Science Museum
Oasis 21
Shopping district SAKAE

Any suggestions?

it depends on what YOU like to do. from your itinerary, it seems you either have very diverse interests or are visiting the places of 'interest' listed on japanguide.com.

i've been to nagoya twice, mainly to eat (cochin chicken, unagi hitsumabushi, sadaharu aoki pastries and gontran cherrier croissants) and shop (at jazz dream nagashima mitsui outlet).

the only sightseeing i did was a half-day trip to see koyo at korankei, which is too early in october.

Wow, so you spent most of the time eating there? Any cafes or restaurants your recommend?

Anyone have any lobang for accommodations there? I heard Japan slowly banning AirBnB

Can go korankei... Really not bad if koyo season... I did a short course at okazaki which is nearby Nagoya... If u wan just walk walk can go tokoname too la... Can see those 招財貓... But not a lot la... Along the streets can stroll n see...

Osu shopping street for maid cafe can go see see try try...

remember eat the famous in nagoya, namely
soya-based noodles
fried chicken.
