Thank you. Too late for me, already bought the BE800. I was considering the ikoolcore r2 max.

I see.

I guess you can still use the Archer BE800 as an AP in the future when you decide to change to use OpenWRT/pfSense. I will be using Archer BE805 as an AP after my virtual OpenWRT router (running as a virtual machine on MiniRoute R1 Intel N100 version with Proxmox PVE 8). The mini PC has dual 10G SFP+ ports and dual 2.5G ports.

BTW, iCoolCore R2 Max is okay for OpenWRT but not pfSense due to the unsupported Network Interface card if you plan to use bare metal pfSense.

Anybody got solutions for this issue? Fan and curtain from tuya gets disconnected and cannot connect back. For the past wifi 6 routers no issues.

My issues still cannot be resolved...

Why not continue using your WiFi 6 router as an AP for the Smart Home devices?

I am not into smart home devices, but I use my trusted Asus RT-AX86U in AP mode mainly for my few legacy 2.4GHz devices, then Archer BE805 or Asus TUF-BE6500 for other devices (5GHz and 6GHz clients, WiFi 5/6/7).
