high floor so wifi calling is important to me, that's why i was wondering asking for advice in this thread first.
IMHO, all WIFI call app or otherwise should be the same. For your info, I use landline to test with mobile. Mobile to Mobile, no idea.
I currently have a Singtel phone at home, and was wondering whether I can expect same 4G/LTE coverage with TPG?

TPG using Own network. Just like Singtel m1 and starhub.

I just did a SPEEDTEST using Singtel & TPG.
Singtel 90.0Mbps down / 44.2Mbps up
TPG 6.0Mbps down / 6.2Mbps up
TPG use their own network.

At home I have wifi so at least should hopefully be safe but outdoors can maybe count on slower speed . I guess for $10/month I can live with it.
TPG really depends on location.
Just get one and try if it suits your usage.
I know of others who use TPG as main SIM for data.

Just to update on my TESTING on voice over WIFI ( VoWIFI ? )
The Note9 was connected to a WIFI router but did not managed to switch over to VoWIFI when the 4G connection was extremely poor.
Similar setup but different mobile phone, M1 prepaid SIM switched over seamlessly.

Think they enable IMS for volte profile but not for the vowifi feature ba
