A few questions.
1. Battery life
How's the battery life drain of the latest iOS TT app?
I was one of the early adoptors (forced to download before the tokens were available), but the battery drain made my iPhone 11 feel like my iPhone 7 at times that I dumped the app the moment the token was available for my area.
Now with some places I have to go to requiring us to show our vaccination status to enter, it might be a decent idea to install the TT app if the drain is insignificant. I know I can use HealthHub, but the major problem with HealthHub is that it requires a Singpass login, and the iPhone only has FaceID for Biometric authentication, which actually means we risk taking off our masks for ease of login, which is a silly process altogether. Of course I could also cancel the bio login and key in the pin, but the TT app just requires you to open the app and the vaccination status is shown.
To be fair, I expect a small level of battery drain, but it shouldn't be significant. With my usage patterns, I can charge my iPhone 11 every 2 days, but the two months I had the TT app, I was charging it daily - one of the days the phone drained completely before I got home, exactly like how my old iPhone 7 used to behave. The battery drain was gone the moment I uninstalled TT and rebooted the phone.
2. Bluetooth disruptions
Has the issue of regular/frequent drop outs with bluetooth devices been resolved?
The other major reason why I quickly deleted the TT app is that I use Bluetooth connections - to my headphones, to a car stereo, or to BT speakers at home. With the TT app installed, music streaming is frustrating since there are a lot of dropped connections. I once had an important call disconnect while driving because of the stupid TT implementation.
I'm not referring to Airpods with W1 chips, but general (and good) Bluetooth 5 headphones from major audio companies that work perfectly without the TT app installed. Or with car stereos, which don't typically come with proprietary Apple technology for what is a published universal standard.
