Hi guys as of now gold prices has risen to about $94/g for 916 gold. Previously I have a gold necklace which I bought for $72/g, and currently I’m looking to upgrade my gold necklace to a thicker one. Should I pawn my gold necklace and take the cash to purchase a new necklace? Or should I do a trade in? Which one is more value for money? Kindly advise, thanks in advance to all!

Can share which pawnshop or gold buyback shop will be buying 916 gold at $94/g as spot price for 999 gold is almost $88/g...The price indicated at pawnshop or gold jewelry shop are not the spot price...It is the price they are selling the gold to you...Not the buyback price...If you can tell me where can sell 916 gold at $94, do share as I'm sure a lot of people can unload all the old gold jewelry at $94 and above as current spot is almost $88...

trade in with the shop u buy from usually has better value, u can always check and compare the price. But is it worth it to buy now unless u need it?
