Has anyone had any experiences with TradePac in SLS? I'm looking to buy a GPU from them but worried about their aftermarket services.. (i.e. RMA for warranty, defects etc.)

Go to PC Themes or Fuwell if you are looking at after sale service.

RMA and such are dependent on the distributor and not the store that sells them. As long as they are selling local distributors' goods, then there is no need to be concerned. I've purchased from this store a number of times, and I don't see any issues with them. If the card is faulty, I believe you will have a minimal of 7 days for exchange, unless otherwise specified.

If a user need to ask about Tradepac, normally means they shouldn't buy from Tradepac.

I agree also. If need to ask about tradepac means better not buy. But actually all TS needs to do is your own homework n research on prices.

Know what you are buying exactly.
Know the lowest prices for each item.
Be prepared to be presented with alternatives n you need to know if the prices are good enough or not.

Negotiate from there.

Tradepac is quite good actually. But they will know how to bargain with you and upsell you. Which is ok imo. That is why you need to know what you are buy. But in pricing across a range of items, they are quite hard to beat

That person probably read that Tradepac is the cheapest here, but never do his on homework and walk in and buy directly. If you enter TP first stop and ask for quote, probably everything will be quoted in SRP.

I bought countless things from them over the last 7 years , no problem, pricing is competitive but your face need to be thick.

I actually don't think there is a need to sticky this thread. This is common sense to do some homework prior to buying anything, regardless its at SLS or anywhere else.

I bought a mobo from them before which had a DOA LAN port. Did a 1-1 exchange with them the very next day, no questions asked.

Caveat: it's based on stock availability though. if no stock, then LLST... but then that's what distro warranty is for, right?

RMA is pretty standard everywhere. 7 days 1-1 exchange. After that go back to distributor. If no stocks, they also have to send back to distributor.

So after sales service is with distributor and not the shop.

Some shop will take extra miles to help you to claim repair/replacement from distributor.

Just putting it here for my personal experience with Tradepac. I’ve built 2 systems with them since 2013, so far all no problem. About the price point, I agree with the rest, have to do your research. In general, they seem to be selling parts at the lowest price. I bought a NZXT Kraken X73 today from them at $260, I checked with Dynacore and they were selling at $285. The shop beside Dynacore (I forgot the name) was selling $295, so in the end I got from Tradepac.

For my previous 2 systems, one example was the NVME SSD which they sold at a higher price than Dynacore. I bargained with them saying Dynacore was selling cheaper, then managed to get cheaper from Tradepac.

One example for RMA was my friend who bought a Gigabyte 1660Ti earlier this year. There was some problem with the GPU and he went to exchanged with the distributor that has its own service centre, which is not Tradepac store itself (the exchange was 1 to 1, free).

Overall my experience with them is good, I saw comments saying their service is not up to par with other stores, which I agree but they are generally nice and willing to bargain with you. I can vouch for them based on my personal experience.
