Am thinking of an idea to gather all stock market watchers to hunt together on real-time basis. Anyone interested?

Looking for fulltimers only though.. Asin, watch the market 100% of the time..

what's the benefit?

benefits? share real-time 'heads up' when got market opportunities.. most likely via whatsapp group..

hence looking for a core group of fulltime market watchers only, don't want it too big, dillutive effect on profit opportunity..

what i hope to achieve for the group is a mutual sharing.. not just a one-directional giving stock long/short opportunities to others..

Difficult to work unless everyone is in the same skill level trading the same strategy.

Frankly, I don't see any benefit to me.

Its good to share trading ideas. But trading is most effectively done alone.

Mmm... disagree.

The reason banks have giant trading floors (you've seen the photos of UBS Stamford, haven't you?) is to facilitate the free flow of information.

If I'm trading cable, I want to be able to hear what the euro's doing, and I want to be able to ask the options guys if there are any big barriers out there. If I'm trading oil and gas equities, I want to be able to hear what the equity index guys are doing (and maybe what the energy guys are doing). And I want to be able to sit and toss around ideas with other traders: "mate, have you seen what Intel's doing today? What do you reckon, is it a buy?" "nah mate, you didn't see the news? it's gotta be headed lower" "oh right, good spot".

If it's just for discussion, can do it at this forum. Why start a delegated group?

whatsapp group for the speed, once sent out message everyone receives and can look at it.. and less eyes looking (those unregistered hwz members) at any given opportunity..

anyway.............. response here is disinterest.. so never mind.. back to doing what we've been doing all along..

Frankly, good traders are not going to join because there is no incentive for them to share their trade secrets.

If you really want to start this, it's either you get a group of same level skill traders and all trade the same strategy or you get a good trader and give him/her incentive to share his trading strategy and the rest follow.

If it's just for discussion sake, can do it in this forum, no need to start a group.

You mentioned free flow of information, this is exactly what i said, sharing trading ideas. Just phrasing it differently.

Ultimately its the trader's decision to pull the trigger or not isn't? If the trader always have to go around asking if he should buy or sell, he is probably not a good trader.
