Hello Shinythings!

Thank you so much for your reply and your willingness to help! Well like i implied, it is not that i am concretely blaming my current broker for the Stops being hit. I am just trying to research more so as to get a better and clearer understanding on this. I could stick with Oanda and simply put my stop ~40 pips further as compared to where i would originally put it. But in the long run it seems to be more detrimental than good.

1) You recommended InteractiveBroker. Are they "you could have an ECN platform that's dog-slow and doesn't get you fills when you need them. "? or they are the best out of the lot of ECN Brokers you mean.

2) May i know which broker do you use for Forex? :)

Hello Alex!

Thank you for your input too! May i know the disparity or advantageous of trading Forex Futures as opposed to the regular Forex?

I wouldn't recommend IB if their execution was terrible. I use them; they're great; though I tend to use futures rather than spot when I'm doing FX.

Great! I will consider IB then. Any comments on Tradestation or Pepperstone?

Never heard of anything in particular about either of them, though quite frankly most of those FX spread-betting shops are pretty interchangeable.

Never heard of them. Sounds like just another FX spread-betting shop (see above)

No. 2 pips is not a wide spread - that's the same spread you'd get interbank in sub-20-mio of any G10 currency. Some other brokers might show you tighter spreads, but when you're down at these levels, the spread doesn't really matter unless you're frantically trading back and forth - which you shouldn't be doing, because you have no edge over anyone else in the market who's doing that.

is there brokerage can provide 100 leverage?

Sure, there are plenty of dodgy bucket shops that'll do that, but why not just go to the casino instead?

Hello Shiny Things! We were discussing about forex brokers. May i ask, for Ecn/Stp brokers, they edge over Market Makers in the sense where they do not have slippages problem. Does that mean that the have a single price rather than a Bid and Ask price like Market Makers where they will be able to widen to their choice as and when they want? Thank you!
