Traffic in Sg is getting worst

Everyday CTE .. both ways from AMK to Orchard .. is slow moving from morning till night. You will be wondering if people are knocking off from work early these days. 3pm already got jam.

Evening peak hours .. PIE, BKE, TPE, KJE .. is jam until .. drivers run out of patience and accident bound to happen, and they slow down the traffic even more.

Orchard Paragon ... is perpetually jam from 9am to 10pm. If you drive from 111 Somerset to Emerald Hill, 1.3km will take you 25 minutes to reach. The jam is caused by the vehicle entrances to Hilton hotel, Pullman hotel, Takashimaya loading bay and Paragon, plus entrance to CTE, and they are all on the same Orchard Link and Bideford road.

So unless you really need a car, better to take public transport in Sg now.

Once Gov stop burning so much money on building stuff. All the heavy vehicle reduce back to normal. Traffic will improve.

If you drive up north to JB more often, you'll appreciate Singapore traffic more. If you drive further up north to KL, you'll find Singapore's traffic is really heaven.

Expressway most lanes are taken by heavy vehicles except lane 1 which is shared with all the lane splitter motorists. How not to have slow traffic. All you need is one slow bugger on lane 1 and the entire Expressway is slow way

Too many cars. They need to reduce demand by plugging the phv 100% loan loophole. In fact, reduce loan proportion to 40%. Must pay 60% upfront. Better for financials.
