transfer photos from iphone to PC

is there a way to tranfer photos in my iphone to pc , FOC?

my backup was wiped when i sold my macbook and i did not know you cant just import it from iphone to PC via itunes

now i cant backup my photos/videos/music to the PC which is frankly quite a pain in the ass when i m planning to change to phone,

any gurus has a free way to do it??

when u plug in e phone yr PC shud show it as a USB drive. just copy out.

Plug your iphone to your pc. It will show up as a drive. Copy out the photos.

if u lazy plug cable like me.. i use SendAnywhere app.. works with iPhone, Android and Windows

Thx but i thought of backing the music/photo files but it wont work as u know iphone isnt like android where u can cut and paste 1 folder into another

when u plug in e phone yr PC shud show it as a USB drive. just copy out.

the photos u can retrieve from the drive are only the ones inside the camera roll.

as the photos i need were imported from my macbook, u wont be able to access it from the drive.

i ve tried to export the photos all into the camera roll but as u know the iphone photo app make it almost impossible to mass transfer the files

ive tried doing full back ups and restoring them.
but i wont work.

i m at the point where i might just buy some 3rd party software to solve this issue.

thx but i ve tried various methods too..
like send anywhere like you mention and even importing via the windows photos app.

I even tried increasing my icloud storage to see if it actually syncs to icloud, but even that DOES NOT WORK.

This means that ios restrict access to only the camera roll for whatever apps you may try to use.
and as long as the data you sync to your phone is not purchase from itunes(meaning any imported data)


my only options are to
1. buy a 3rd party software for files transfer
2. buy a macbook ( wtf?)
3. live without the photos and music files

i always thought ios was simple and easy to use
who knew it was this anal.

maybe u can describe in more detail. I don't think it's that complicated. how is it "impossible" to mass transfer to e camera roll?

in short there is lack of an option to select all different albums or any other option to select all other classifications of the photos.

theres only section to select all within the classifications of the photos.

considering the fact that there are i think no less than 100 types classifications of these photos it doesnt seem realistic

and for some reason in some albums after i select the photos. it wont give me the option to share/send/export.



Anyway i found a simple solutions.
Use free third party software to export.
- for me i found this USEASE mobimover online free.
it helps me to literally export any data i want out of my iphone, not restricted to just photos/music

i think there was a post from sagu regarding this but somehow the post was deleted..
i didnt use his recommended software but still the advise was great.
and yes typically for these software, you need to have itunes preinstalled

anyway i thank all for the advice so far.
Since i have resolved the issue, i wont be coming back to this thread anymore.

I hope any 1 who has similar problems will find this thread useful
