Transfer Purchase to new MBP

Hi All,

I have been using Windows for many many years, thought of changing to MBP. I know that for music I have to copy all the files from Itune, copy and paste thru folder. But what about those purchase apps for my Ipad and Iphone? Can someone advise me how to transfer it over? Will Apple asked me to purchase apps again that I bought from my laptop, re-installing all over huh?

Hi there!

• Head to iTunes
• Click on Apps on the left side bar of iTunes
• Move your cursor to any apps
• Right Click
• Show in Windows Explorer
• A new window should open with all your downloaded apps.

You can copy this list of apps into a portable HDD then drag and drop them into iTunes on your Macbook Pro.

And to answer your question. Apps that have been purchased will not be required to be repurchased. To view your purchased apps : Click Here
