Transfer WhatsApp Messages to iphone

Going to replace my Samsung Android phone with iPhone, can anyone advise how can I transfer my WhatsApp messages to my new iPhone please?

iPhone is the same, but decided to switch to iPhone. Not a fan of android.

If it's one android phone to the other it's possible.

But from android to iPhone it won't be possible. The best you can do is email yourself the archive of your messages and start afresh.

With this being said, note that it is the message that cannot be ported over. You will still be in the groups that you were in previously just that all your previous messages will be empty

I remember previously when I changed to a new iPhone, only the whatsapp groups (without messages) that I created were copied over ...

It is possible. I have done it quite a few times. Android to iOS and vice versa.

You need a paid software, which is the only one that works. All other methods don't work at all or don't work as well.

5gb is free for everyone, but most likely your photos takes up plenty of them. and a lot of people send you video or image via whatsapp, your whatsapp might be huge too.

$1.28/month for 50gb of iCloud. I won't say it is expensive, afterall it sync up my iphone, ipad and mac.

to purchase, you can go to Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > iCloud Manage Storage > Change Storage Plan

From there you can choose which plan you want.

i wish so but sometime it just isn't possible especially when all your friends refuse to move over to other options. i have clients that are using whatsapp and they are the group of people that i can't request them to use other options.

personally i prefer facebook messenger and telegram. in fact i have so many chat app installed before of everyone using different one. like wechat, line, groupme, etc
