Transferring from uol to rmit

Hi, i am considering to transfer from uol to rmit. Anyone here experienced the transfer before? how do i go about doing it?

You apply to RMIT and they will assess your previous studies/modules/course. Note that it's from a British University to an Australian University so it won't be that straightforward or you won't get as much credit as you would like to have.

you from uol whoich course? dont need to change, i do have some friends trf over to rmit, they say rmit not that good.. very rush... i still in uol... i have some experience like u having a thought of swtiching over.....

can share why u wanna transfer? it can be a madrush over at rmit when you are swarmed with meeting proj datelines and have to stay back almost everyday after sch. exams are easier as compared to uol but for certain modules, once u fail exams, u failed the whole module even if you get dist for projs. why not just study hard for uol exams since u have the whole year to prepare for it and its direct honours somemore.

I was working while taking full time uol. Realised i cannot cope with the load. I heard rmit is more manageable from my friends.

is all about time management and planning ahead...formerly from rmit part time, change to unisim part time since the course fees are cheaper.
to be honest both schools are equally tough, in rmit textbooks are not provided but in unisim textbooks are provided and the deadlines are tighter than the ones in rmit.

so the pros and cons are almost comparable just that i choose a cheaper course for faster rate of ROI.

But if you are fresh and young, networking and friendship is more important which can only be acquired with Fulltime studies at RMIT, whereas at UniSIM it's part-time studies and people just touch and go quickly/superficially, there is very little opportunity for true long term and innocent networking. If you were to study full-time (without working) in a UniSIM part-time course, it could be very boring and perhaps even unmotivating in the day because all classes are only at night. There is basically no campus life at all.

to be honest, i find it more motivating to go class than go to work.
social life can be found away from sch rather than in uni, i'm closer to my poly friends than uni friends.
part time uni is more like ICT concept where a group of strangers bond together talking about career, family or investments...in finance courses, we tend to talk about investments or studies, hobbies are really secondary.

i hate to spoil your concept of networking but once you're out in the working industry, there's really no such thing as innocent networking, benefits have to be mutual.
i have also come across scholars in uni who are armed with their own personal agenda when it comes to networking in sch, didn't you realise that they tend to group within themselves ?

is good to know more friends, but is also good to iron out the redundant ones who contribute no value to your life.

You are still young and fresh. Why not apply to UniSIM full time course since full time is what you wish for.
